* UHU POR Purchase and Use Tips

UhU POR is a product that is widely used for adhesion of EPO foam all over the world.


Please make sure to check the foam plastic adhesive only.

For the bond operation, spread the UHU POR on both sides of the attachment. If you apply it on one side, the adhesion decreases. It is applied to both sides that must be attached, and it is not a simple application, but a bond brush must be used to spread out evenly to create maximum strength and resilience.


I recommend that you work on the UHU POR and dry it for a day.


1.To assemble the winglet (1 set of winglet EPO, 1 set of winglet connecting parts)


Attach 1 set of EPO parts winglet and plastic part, which is the connection between winglet and wing, with ready UHU POR.

2. Work on wing reinforcement and parts bond (wing-side winglet plastic parts, face-mounted carbon pipe)

3. Wingservo adjustment and plastic part connection buried

Using M3 X 8 Tab Screws


The connection between the wing servo and the servo bed is fastened with a tapping screw. 


Unlike motor mount parts, it is a part without insert nuts, so I recommend you to work with hand tools.


Too strong screw tightening can damage plastic parts and reduce tightening.

4. Bonding and fabrication of wing carbon pipes


Attach the carbon pipe length according to the front epo and the end length of the carbon pipe according to 170mm.

* After attaching it, keep it for 24 hours and do additional work.

5. Quad motor mount to motor mount


Use a screw retainer when fastening the motor to the mount. Loctite 242 (Blue Liquid)

6. Transmission (ESC) wire work and motor wire cutting


Cut the motor wire to a solderable length.

7. Attachment of transmission (ESC) wings and penetration of transmission line carbon pipe

8. Connect with quad motor mounted carbon pipe and 3 wires of transmission and soldering operation


The motor mount engagement screw is an M3 X 8 wrench bolt.

9. Wingservo Line Extension


KIT products include additional servo lines. The plastic connector attached to the wing servo will be used for future lines from the body to the FC during extension work, so please leave enough line length for soldering.

10. Assembly wing to body plastic parts


It is a plastic part that secures the wing and the body, and it is a role that secures the body and wing connection by simply moving the parts back and forth. Aluminum components inserted into the wing are the main anchorages. Please work on this part before working on the wings and bonds. It needs to be slightly bent and inserted, so it can be difficult to work on if attached to the EPO.

11. BONDING WING TO BODY PLASTIC PART


There are a total of four components of the wing-body connection plastic. Check the video to see which parts are attached to each wing, connect them before you work, and then bond them.

12. Wings to body electrical connectors work (ESC, Transmission, Wing servo)


The wing-side connectors use male connectors.


First of all, the main power lines + of the two transmissions are maintained at two to connect each, and the two - ground is tied together.

And the solder wiring is as follows.


he signal and ground of the two transmissions are made into three wires. - Tie up the ground and work.


Work on the three wing servo wires and the three transmission wires together as shown in the picture above.


Also, if you look closely at the DSUB pin, the numbers are written. It's from 1 to 10.


Number 1, 3, and 5 are wing servo lines, number 1 is signal (white/yellow), number 3 is + (red), and number 5 is -ground (black).


Number 6, 8 and 10 work on the 3 transmission lines, number 6 front transmission signal (white), number 8 rear transmission signal (white), number 10 - ground (black).




13. Leveling the quad motor

Among RC supplies, there is a tool to measure the helicopter pitch angle. With this product, you can easily level off.


If not, level the quad motor mounts on the same line with respect to the underside of the EPO wing with eyes and the bottom of the carbon pipe connected to the EPO.




14. Aluminum parts that secure the wings and body


I recommend that you work with the wings completely dry for about a day after the glue work.


One set of aluminum parts consists of three parts, and you can check the video and work on it.


Penetration carbon pipes from the body are not easy to insert into the wing when initially connected. This part expands the hole through screw tightening, and adjustment makes it easier to connect later.
